ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge computer hardware components and systems. Your role will involve collaborating with software engineers, hardware engineers, other cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver innovative and high-performance hardware solutions. This can be achieved by getting involved in embedded software development and designs on the compute infrastructure.
- Conduct in-depth market research and technology analysis to identify new viable hardware solutions that are compatible with compute infrastructure and liquid immersion cooling.
- Manage testing and validation of new systems, hardware configuration and changes to existing systems and hardware
- Design and manage system-level tooling to evaluate hardware performance and integration with other system components.
- Designing and maintaining embedded hardware, software and the configuration of these components to optimize efficiency and integration with liquid immersion technology
- Manage engineering relationships and be the escalation point for partners, OEMs and engineering partners to tackle technological challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new hardware, software and firmware into complex ecosystems.
- Constantly improving the compute infrastructure through new generations, overall architectural designs, and implementing revisions to existing solutions
- Work around different networking standards and solutions, such as Ethernet and InfiniBand networks, systems and software that operate on those platforms
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Working experience in embedded software, systems programming and general scripting/programming
- Working experience with High Performance Computing / Cloud Hyperscale systems, architecture and network infrastructure
- Knowledge of interconnect and networking solutions, and its interactions with hardware in immersed infrastructure
- Experience in White and Black box testing on both software and hardware
- Well versed in multiple different OS platforms (e.g.e.g.Linux, Windows etc.)
- Experience with GPU programming with libraries/APIs such as CUDA, OpenCL, etc.
