RGP is seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager to lead a major project for a prestigious foreign-based investment bank. This project involves transitioning IT resources from Singapore to India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex IT transitions and a deep understanding of project management best practices. This is a 9 to 12 months contract role with potential for extension.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead the end-to-end project management process for transitioning IT resources.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
- Ensure all project objectives are met within the specified timeframe and budget.
Key Skills and Attributes for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on resource transitions.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and resource management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience working in the financial sector is a plus.
