Responsibilities:
- Define NPU architecture based on system-level requirements.
- Develop performance models to evaluate design trade-offs.
- Design and implement NPU microarchitecture using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Optimize NPU for performance, power, and area (PPA) metrics.
- Collaborate with verification, software, and system teams for seamless integration.
- Create comprehensive design documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design and verification skills.
- Deep understanding of digital design principles and methodologies with SoC desgin experience
- Proficiency in performance modeling and power estimation techniques.
- Experience with NPU architecture and design.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and data structures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl).
- Familiarity with FPGA prototyping and verification.
- Experience with optimizing micro-architectures for low-power and low-area is a plus.
- Knowledge in deep learning algorithms such as CNN / Transformer is a plus.
- Experience with past design experience with NPU / GPU / DSP design is a plus.
- Experience with ARM or RISC-V processor systems is a plus.
