Job Description
- Carry out the maintenance of E&I installations (PLC, DCS, MCC Panel).
- Develop preventive maintenance plan and critical spare part list for E&I installations.
- Troubleshoot E&I related faults and breakdowns.
- Lead and prepare knowledge transfer training to reporting E&I technicians.
- Failure analysis / root cause analysis for E&I related faults and breakdowns.
- Automation system programming (sequencing & graphical) according to operational request.
- Develop automation interlock master list and continual process safety improvement.
- Cost reduction effort for E&I related work orders.
- Procurement and stock keeping of E&I equipment.
- Prepare process safety information (Single Line Diagram, Ladder Diagram, etc).
- Any other duties assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 10 years working experience in a process manufacturing industry.
- Well-versed in DCS, PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
- Siemens – S7 300/400/1200/1500 series PLC system with SIMATIC manager / TIA portal.
- Engineering Drawing (AutoCAD 2D, 3D, E-Plan or any).
- Experience and knowledge in Electrical field and controls system.
- Good planning, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn concepts and technical details of complex systems.
- Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Pro-active and self-motivated team player with strong engineering judgment skills.
- Able to work well in a high-pressure environment.
- Creativity and strong analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
