The Role
You will be the guardian of our business applications, ensuring their reliability, integrity, and peak performance. This includes overseeing systems like Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, WMS, EDI/API integrations, and Qlikview. Partnering with stakeholders and users, you will champion continuous improvement, facilitating changes to meet evolving needs and implement best practices. Your passion lies in collaborating with users to identify pain points, leveraging existing solutions or developing new ones to optimize processes. You will proactively recommend and implement efficiency enhancements, fostering a culture of innovation and streamlining workflows through digitization and digital transformation initiatives. Data integrity and security are paramount, so you'll manage processes like data housekeeping and ensure smooth data exchange across applications. Proactive problem-solving and user support are essential to maintain business continuity. Additionally, you'll coach and train users to maximize their application proficiency for achieving business objectives. Staying abreast of new technologies and best practices ensures you continuously unlock the full potential of our systems. Finally, you will collaborate effectively with internal and external IT partners to guarantee successful project completion.
Your Profile
We seek a talented individual with a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business. A minimum of 5 years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is crucial, with at least 2 years demonstrating your expertise in project scoping, system design, development, user training, and implementation. Your understanding of business processes and best practices is essential, particularly if you have experience implementing solutions within high-volume distribution or logistics operations. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server for database management and SQL querying is a plus, along with any skills in deploying bots or RPA solutions. Technical proficiency is key, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application functionality, configuration, and integration issues. A solution-focused and user-focused mindset will be essential, along with strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving problems effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to collaborate with end-users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
