Civilian Nuclear Managing Consultant

By joining our growing International Nuclear Programmes team, you will become a key part of our journey by offering your expertise in nuclear safety. This role is based in Singapore.

You will engage with diverse stakeholders, lead projects and create positive impact for governments, businesses and society. Your role will encompass advising our clients in areas such as policy, regulation, capability development, technologies and safety across the full nuclear power plant life cycle.

You will be responsible for effective project delivery – from identifying potential clients, opportunities and creating winning bids, to efficient project management and delivery, through to the seamless closure of projects. Your contributions are integral to our continued growth.


Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Create and apply strategies to navigate complex nuclear safety issues
  • Offer project and technical oversight for safety-related deliverables
  • Manage high-risk projects, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality expectations
  • Proactive client engagement to support business development and project delivery
  • Supporting the business achieve its international business growth targets
  • Generate proposals and bids
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Establish and develop enduring client relationships


Requirements

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Nuclear-related qualifications preferred)
  • 20 years of relevant experience with civilian nuclear facilities, including (but not limited) to:
  1. Overseeing the implementation of the nuclear safety case process
  2. Knowledge of nuclear new build projects
  3. Willingness to travel to client sites when required for project delivery
  4. Proficient in both written and verbal communication, with a talent for impactful persuasion

Highly desirable:

  • Experience of developing new business, or maintaining key business or key account relationships, in a consultancy or similar environment
  • Coaching and mentoring experience
  • Effective collaboration, with experience of working as part of global teams
