- Responsible for maintaining sound EHS working conditions.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, and responds to alerts during production.
- Handles production materials within the facilities and performs cleaning and sterilisation activities.
- Tasked with the day-to-day operations of individual manufacturing equipment.
- Must adhere to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations at all times in order to protect both employees as well as the quality of the products.
- Store materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Dispose degraded and contaminated materials according to SOPs.
- Input information into the inventory management system.
- Carry out batch dispensing operations.
- Prepare materials, equipment and solvents required for cleaning and sterilization.
- Perform manual and automated cleaning and sterilisation of equipment, containers, cleanrooms and facilities.
- Perform calibration and pre-startup checks on manufacturing equipment according to SOPs.
- Operate filling and packaging equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve production activities within one’s work areas.
- Follows proper sequence of operation, specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.
- May conduct basic tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity.
- Ensure continuous compliance to Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve packaging quality issues and monitored the corrective actions.
- Services, troubleshoots and solves standard engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operations.
- Follows processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist department in achieving company’s Key Performance Indexes (KPIs).
- Follow the packaging line schedule to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Requirements.
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical Plant is preferred
- Knowledge in SAP and with experience in can or pouch packing.
- 12 hours rotating shift work
- Team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- NITEC/ Diploma in related discipline or GCE "N/ O/ A" Level with at least 1 to 3 years of experience.
