Based in Singapore, reporting to Product Lead, Growth & Monetisation, this Senior Product Manager (PM) role will focus on building seamless, engaging and secure user account and profile management experiences to power intelligent personalisation throughout the customer journey on and off-platform. This person will partner with cross-functional teams owning the strategy and execution of projects to enable personalisation that drives subscriber growth. We are looking for a customer centric, self-starter with the ability to grasp difficult technical concepts, work across many teams/stakeholders, and remain knowledgeable on market trends/dynamics that affect our products.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define a well-prioritised, impactful roadmap that builds users profiles to power personalisation and enables seamless and secure lifecycle management for new and existing Viki customers globally
- Continually assess market trends, competitor capabilities and customer needs to scope new onboarding, profile management, lifecycle management opportunities
- Partner with UX Research, Design teams and Engineering to design and deliver customer centric solutions and to leanly test proof of concepts
- Define clear product specifications, user stories, and product success metrics
- Define and monitor Identity and Lifecycle Management KPIs to maintain product performance and to inform optimisation opportunities
- Be the subject matter expert for personalisation enablement, account privacy, security, CRM tooling and user account/lifecycle management
- Support product lifecycle, from conception to launch, along with post-launch analysis and continuous improvements
- Manage the feature delivery from engineering sprint planning, development milestone tracking, production rollout, and post-production iteration
- Be a key advocate for our passionate fans
- Strong partnership with Legal team to proactively identify major regulations in key territories which Viki operates in and prioritise what to tackle first
- Being comfortable doing whatever it takes in order to ship a successful product and delight our users
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience in leading cross-functional teams to successfully deliver customer-facing products from concept to launch
- Experience working with UX research and design teams to develop hypotheses, understand customer needs and design engaging customer experiences
- Product management experience in user account and profile management to enable secure, seamless, personalised experiences on and/or off-platform
- Experience considering commercial, legal and customer experience trade-offs to drive product and prioritisation decisions
- Able to build depth of competitive landscape, industry knowledge and market trends for personalisation enablement and user lifecycle management, make recommendations on which new technologies and opportunities to invest in
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong experience working with data to make data-driven decisions
- Experience distilling customer requirements into clear user stories and to partner with engineering to manage these through to delivery.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with both technical and non-technical teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple product initiatives concurrently while maintaining a high tendency for on-time delivery
- An energetic personality and an entrepreneurial knack
- Highly organised self-starter able to execute independently with general direction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in start-up and/or media company environments
- Experience in building large-scale consumer Internet services
- Experience in premium streaming video or social apps
- Experience working within an international business covering multiple jurisdictions
- Experience in managing account security, compliance capabilities in B2C space
