Main Purpose
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end warehouse management across the globe, including but not limited to coordination with warehouses, cargo operators, trade finance, traders for incoming & outgoing cargo for both physical and warranting business.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordination with shipping scheduler, purchase/sales ops for shipments in/out
· Coordination with warehouses for shipment in/out
· Manage storage capacity and warehousing costs
· Coordinate with warehouses for various documentation issuance including holding certificates (HC), releases, pledges
· Issue instructions to warehouses and send them pre-alerts of incoming cargo
· Perform monthly stock recon and ensure accurate reporting on stock positions while relaying to commercial team
· Manage claims from warehouses, if required dispute resolution and charge back to appropriate stakeholders
· Execution of warrant cancellation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· 5-8 years of warehousing/shipping experience
· Good knowledge of customs documentation and processes preferred but not mandatory
· Excellent MS Office Suite skills specially Excel, Word & Outlook. Should have hands on experience of leveraging MS Excel for data gathering & reporting using advanced MS Excel skills
· Analytical and inclination for problem-solving
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as role requires communicating with global warehouses across continents
· Quick learner and comfortable operating in a fast paced environment
