Objective of Position:

  • Responsible for the overall Gross Margin Profitability of BU PAT (Process Analyzer Technology) in Asia Pacific
  • To influence and contribute to the overall Sales & Marketing strategies of the BU
  • To ensure the implementation with the understanding from the trend analysis & result
  • Determine & deliver the annual revenue and gross-profit plans by implementing the BU strategic plans. This includes setting Sales quotas for the region, country and territories supported by target Sales programs / Activity Plans. And ensure the execution and delivery
  • Good understanding of economic indicators, competitors and product positioning to ensure PAT competitiveness
  • Develop Partnership program to support company growth opportunities & optimize Sales strategies in South East Asia within regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish Partnership target and measurement to allow fair evaluation of partners.

Sales Responsibility:

  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the regional sales force & distributors to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly revenue targets and KPI targets are met
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates & distributors, from the generation of new leads until closure of deals
  • Preparation of the technical & commercial offer for customers and distributors in close cooperation with PAT HQ
  • Support for local marketing activities like technical presentations to customer, project discussions and negotiations.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them, develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics
  • Maintain the CRM on all the sales activities and update on project pipeline regularly
  • Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop, and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans
  • Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions
  • Ensure all business activities are aligned with company “code of Conduct”

Operational Responsibility:

  • Communication with PAT HQ in Germany and US for pricing and technical updates
  • Align the product knowledge / share market info and Project Pipeline / marketing strategies with PAT HQ
  • Conduct site surveys if required or coordinate the requirements with our service team
  • Review and confirm orders received, initiate the order execution process with the Singapore team and/or directly with the factory in GER/US and supervise the order execution until successful completion

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Process Engineering
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with leadership qualities
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment, multi-task and a strong team player
  • Able to be present on-site with hands-on practical understanding of PAT functionality
