AWS are looking for and APJ Healthcare Sales Leader to support innovation and transformation of public healthcare customers across APJ. This role is within the AWS APJ Public Sector Industry team. The role works with Public Sector healthcare account teams across APJ (Japan, Korea, India, ASEAN, and ANZ).


You will develop a public healthcare go-to-market strategy leveraging the AWS global strategy, your knowledge of the individual APJ markets, and the healthcare account teams. You will drive five activities across APJ: 1/ Market Development - building AWS profile with public healthcare; 2/ Offering Development - working with partners to create AWS hosted business solutions; 3/ Origination - creating opportunities directly, with partners, and with account teams; 4/ Account Pursuit - supporting account teams with healthcare domain knowledge; 5/ Opportunity Pursuit - leading specific healthcare opportunities with account teams.

Key job responsibilities

  • Crafting and leading the healthcare strategy and healthcare domain knowledge across APJ, driving healthcare outcomes for APJ and executive relationships with customers and partners to establish new business in those markets, and enabling the region field team s to drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build long-term business opportunity.
  • Guide the strategy and approach to support public healthcare players to leverage AWS technology to meet their patient, business and service delivery needs.
  • Work closely with the product/service teams, global healthcare teams and communities to help them shape future strategies that represent the diverse needs of APJ. Our healthcare mission is to accelerate the digitization and utilisation of healthcare data to improve outcomes for all. We evolve the offerings and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field in order to help our clients unlock the innovation potential of healthcare data.
  • Working across a dynamic region with customers at the forefront of personalized, remote and equitable healthcare, you will engage partners and support teams to help them transform healthcare in the region.

Basic qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
