Job Description:
As a Senior Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for the strategic delivery of helping our customers securely adopt Google Cloud. As an established trusted advisor, you will span operational, tactical, and strategic levels, tackling difficult problems that businesses face when building and improving their security posture on Google Cloud. This role is an opportunity to showcase your excellent communication skills and experience in security governance, security risk management, security operations, security architecture, and/or cyber incident response programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the structuring, planning, and execution of critical security-related engagements with Google Cloud customers.
- Provide domain expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Security and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
- Guide on building or maturing cloud security programs and the implementation of tools and approaches for improving cloud security.
- Travel regionally for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities, as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.
- 12+ years of experience in leading projects and delivering technical solutions related to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Security.
- Experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in consulting or ownership of GCP Security during high-speed environment migration for large-scale businesses with regulatory requirements.
- Experience in security governance, security risk management, security operations, security architecture, and/or cyber incident response programs for cloud.
- Experience working with cloud architecture across a broad set of enterprise use cases and creating end-to-end solution architectures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop high-quality technical documentation and presentation materials.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, articulation, and influencing skills.
- Experience with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27017/27018, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Service Organization Control (SOC)).
