YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with team members to manage Client’s accounts by providing renewal review, negotiations and providing expertise, technical knowledge and advisory, market knowledge etc to ensure clients’ satisfaction and retention.
- Support colleagues by managing day-to-day aspects on designated accounts and conducting account management tasks which includes completing billing transactional work, generating and coordinating calendars and timelines, liaising with internal senior professionals and business accounts, as well as representing the business to ensure overall satisfaction and compliance;
- Manage account concerns or issues encountered and successfully address small and/or complex problems in a timely manner;
- Develop and communicate an understanding of client businesses by conducting and analyzing client research, researching on industry issues, preparing bench-marking studies and creating risk maps for internal and external use;
- Develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationship with Insurers, colleagues and network offices / partners worldwide.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and understand the needs of clients with respect to all general classes of insurance and ensure placement with clients’ selected insurer program
- Pro-actively manage tasks or challenges on hand and propose resolution options
- Undertake any other initiatives, ad-hoc projects and any additional duties as assigned to you by the company from time to time.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Bachelor’s degree qualification with 1 to 2 years of experience in insurance industry
- Preference will be given to IMAP , ACII Accreditation candidates who have completed their bond with current employer.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, resourceful and meticulous
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Good interpersonal skills – able to communicate well across organisational levels
