Roles & Responsibilities:
· Be the main liaison for Company’s financial matters with management
· Financial and Management Accounting: Coordinate with accounting agent for monthly financial close to produce monthly management report for management and stakeholders. Responsible for recording all financial transactions in accounting software (bank payments and receipts, invoices, vendor invoices, employee claims, compute accruals for monthly financial close).
· Monthly closing and expense processing
· Cash Management: Forecast cash requirements and schedule payments.
· Regulatory reporting: Responsible for preparation, review and submission of MAS regulatory reporting
· Budgeting and forecasting: Partake in annual budget process
· Liaise with tax agents, auditors, corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and all matters relating to the Company
· Identifying and completing process improvements
· Maintaining the control environment
· Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
· Degree with major in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
· 6-10 years of working experience and/or familiar with Investment Management Company (IMC) Accounts through Audit (IMC) experience. Experience in one of the Big 4 audit firms is not must but will be a positive.
· Knowledge and experience in VBA excel and/or related accounting software (Xero), able to articulate clearly business requirements to Technology team.
· Strong demonstration of being able to improve and scale workflow processes.
· Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive and lead in mini-projects and work with minimal supervision. Escalate when required. Pro-active, self-motivated, and a strong challenger mindset.
· Good time management and strong interpersonal skills in communication.
