Resource Allocation Strategy

  • Develop and execute a resource allocation strategy that aligns with project priorities and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and senior leadership to determine resource needs and ensure effective utilization.
  • Analyze project requirements, timelines, and resource availability to make informed decisions on resource allocation.
  • Optimize the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize bottlenecks.


Capacity Planning and Forecasting

  • Lead capacity planning efforts by assessing current and future resource requirements.
  • Work closely with project managers and department heads to forecast resource needs for upcoming projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough analysis considering project complexity, skill requirements, and budget constraints to determine optimal resource allocation.
  • Anticipate changes in resource demand and develop strategies to proactively address potential gaps or surpluses.


Resource Optimization and Efficiency

  • Continuously monitor and analyze resource utilization to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resource efficiency and productivity across projects and departments.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for resource sharing, consolidation, or cross-training to enhance overall organizational performance.
  • Recommend adjustments to resource allocation based on changing project priorities, resource availability, and business needs.


Conflict Resolution and Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a key point of contact for resource allocation conflicts or challenges.
  • Mediate discussions and facilitate negotiations between project teams, departments, and stakeholders to resolve resource conflicts effectively.
  • Communicate resource allocation plans and updates clearly and transparently to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Build strong relationships with project managers, department heads, and senior leadership to foster collaboration and proactive resource management.
  • Ensure regular cadences at all levels – project manager, practice lead, project director, Client Leads and Business leads


Resource Tracking, Reporting, and Analysis:

  • Establish robust systems and processes to track, monitor, and report on resource allocation, utilization, and availability.
  • Generate regular reports and provide insights on resource utilization trends, capacity utilization, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize data-driven analysis to make informed recommendations and drive continuous improvement in resource management practices.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for resource management and measure success against them.


Process Improvement and Best Practices:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in resource management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and the implementation of best practices to enhance resource allocation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives focused on streamlining resource management workflows, tools, and methodologies.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the resource management function.


Collaborative approach with peers and supporting teams

  • Ensure regular connects with the Hiring teams (Perm Hiring and ECAS hiring)
  • Supporting teams collaboration to ensure data sync (P&C, Finance, Bizops)
  • Billability and other practice support along with the supporting teams


A little about you:

  • Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
  • Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Able to travel as required
