Based in Singapore Corporate Office, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Senior Manager / Manager, Finance.


Job Responsibilities:


The key responsibilities are to provide guidance to the finance teams at all properties and business support to PPHG management team, whilst continuing to improve the quality of the financial and management reporting, treasury, banking and corporate governance functions in PPHG.

Financial Accounting and Control

  • Provide guidance to properties to ensure compliance to PPHG’s P&P and SOP, and conduct periodic control self-assessment checks on properties control procedures.
  • Liaise and work with internal auditors. Ensure that follow up on corrective action arising from audit findings are promptly taken where required.
  • Ensure adequate insurances are procured and maintained for all PPHG entities.
  • Liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders to consolidate and provide disclosures required in compliance with the International Sustainability Standards and International Accounting Standards.

Treasury and banking

  • Work with Corporate Secretarial department to update bank signatories and prepare/review required documents by the bank.
  • Assist in due diligence and compliance requirements from banks.
  • Involve in cash flow planning for PPHG Group of companies.
  • Undertake bank administrator role and administer updates of bank users in e-banking platform.

Information Technology and Systems

  • Support business and operation initiatives on automation, e.g. implementation of e-banking platform for overseas properties.

Compliance and Governance

  • Work closely with UOL ERM team to ensure timely and accurate ERM reporting to ARMSC and coordinate any ERM related initiatives and training within PPHG.
  • Manage Business Continuity Plan for PPHG and create awareness through review of policies and procedures, training, BCP simulation exercises and etc.
  • Align PPHG’s processes with UOL privacy directives, and support data protection initiatives and programmes to ensure they are in compliance with data protection regulations including Singapore, UK, Australia, China and etc.

The Person:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry or related
  • Degree in Accountancy
  • Sound business acumen
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP will be an added advantage
