Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer mechanical systems and components for power generation equipment, including turbines, boilers, pumps, and piping systems. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Develop maintenance plans and procedures for mechanical equipment and systems. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical failures, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
- Analyze equipment performance data, including temperature, pressure, and vibration measurements, to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and reliability enhancements. Implement design modifications or upgrades to optimize performance.
- Conduct risk assessments for mechanical systems and components to identify potential hazards and mitigate safety risks. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Lead mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and technology advancements in mechanical engineering practices. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance plant performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of mechanical designs, specifications, procedures, and maintenance records. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies as required.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance in Oil and Gas industries
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Sound Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Knowledge
• Knowledge of safety and statutory requirement will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated team player with analytical mind, strong planning and problem-solving skills.
