Responsibilities:
- Report directly to senior management for oversight of construction projects.
- Lead and manage a team of project engineers focused on infrastructure and facilities planning and development.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and control work progress and quality assurance.
- Manage project costs and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Coordinate project activities and liaise with other departments and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular project progress updates to management.
- Identify project issues and implement effective corrective measures.
- Fulfill other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must posses at least Degree or Master's in Engineering or Construction from recognized universities, with accreditation under BCA considered advantageous.
- Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in project management.
- Prior experience in the local building or construction industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCad is essential.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills, and effective leadership qualities are necessary.
- Must be efficient, possess strong analytical skills, and capable of working independently.
- Demonstrates excellent team spirit and the ability to lead project teams to timely completion.
- Capable of handling pressure to ensure project timelines are met.
- Immediate availability or short notice period for starting work is preferred.
