TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in engineering field with 3 years of automotive experience
  • Valid class 3 driving license a must
  • Those without qualification but with min 5 years experience in same capacity will also be considered
  • Able to work independently
  • 6 days work week ( Alternate Saturday Off )
  • Salary Range $3200 - $3500 ( depending on qualifications and years of relevant experience )

Job Description

  • Prepare and understand new model that is going to be launched
  • Prepare new model readiness kits for the introduction of new model. These includes:-

a. Training – Sales & Aftersales

b. Tools – new tools require to repair the model

c. Owner Manual and Warranty Booklet

  • Works with Service Manager to prepare maintenance worksheet and packages for new model introduction
  • Observations of product quality and reporting of damage cases. All findings and work carryout must be recorded in the job card and to raise FPR if necessary
  • Support Service Advisor/workshop technicians in diagnostic and seek support from principal if necessary
  • Assist Service Advisor (SA) in fault determination for highly technical cases and to test with customer if necessary
  • Update Service Centre of Technical Bulletins, Service Information (SI) and innovations
  • Ensure all tools and equipment including training model and special tools are properly kept and stay functional
  • Recommend and call for quote on Tools and Equipment and submit for approval for procurement or repair
  • Attend Train The Trainer training held both locally and overseas when call upon
  • Conduct new vehicle introduction and aftersales technical training and innovation training
  • Liaise with LTA and Government body for all vehicle related matters; eg Tender, homologation, recall and vehicle particular updates
  • Assist Service Manager/Workshop Manager in implementing policy and in up keeping and maintaining the proper running of the Service Centre
  • Ensure all Aftersales Staff complete the LMS training and maintain proper training records
  • Support warranty admission in ensuring completeness of technical support documents
