As a Social Media Content Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media content strategies to enhance Geolah’s online brand presence, engage with audiences & user groups, support the overall marketing goals. Working closely with Marketing Manager & stakeholders. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation. You will be responsible to manage the end-to-end social media channels, budget and performance
Roles:
- Content Strategy Development: Assist in creating and executing social media content strategies aligned with client objectives. Research industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to inform content decisions. Collaborate with the marketing manager & stakeholders to define content goals and KPIs.
Create compelling and engaging social media content across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Telegram, TikTok, Website, Mobile app etc). - Able to develop visually appealing graphics, illustration images, and short videos to accompany social media posts. Write and edit clear and concise copy for social media posts, ensuring consistency with brand voice and guidelines. Monitor and adjust the content calendar based on real-time events and trends. Track and analyze social media performance metrics.
- Generate reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Engage with the online community, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally. Foster positive relationships with followers and influencers. Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, competitions and emerging platforms. Suggest innovative ideas and creative approaches to enhance social media presence.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative & entrepreneur mindset with a passion for storytelling, design and content creation.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and content scheduling software.
- Basic graphic design skills and experience with relevant design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
