Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operation of the vessels as ship-owners
- Ensure safe operation of vessels in cooperation with ship-managers
- Ensure compliance with charter party requirements and company procedures
- Monitor and record all details of voyage performance
- Arrangement of bunkers at designated port.
- Conduct loss prevention proactively.
- Negotiate claims and respond promptly and effectively
- Assist and liaise with Chartering team concerning any vessel information, requirements, questionnaires, certification and scheduling as part of all pre and post fixture support.
- Check loading/discharging ports planning and discuss with ship-managers
- Have a sound knowledge of charter party, ship-management contract
- Take care of charter hire payments and final settlement
- Go through ship-managers’ management and accounting reports.
- Choose drydocking place in coordination with ship-managers
- Propose workflow improvements to improve efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Maritime Studies etc)
- At least 4 years of experience in bulk operations as a shipowner
