Position Overview:

Procurement & Supply Chain Manager optimizes logistic operations and resources by utilising warehouse management process system, ERP and space capacity to ensure timely receiving of incoming and delivery of outgoing.

To lead key strategic initiatives and projects with the goal to fine-tune order fulfilment and supply chain processes, improve internal procurement and accuracy and meet budget expectations.

The role also needs to communicate and work well with all stakeholders and good team worker and collaborate cross-functionally to align business objectives and optimize operational synergies.

Main Functions & Responsibilities:

LEADERSHIP TEAM MEMBERS OF HST

· Contribute actively in Leadership teams meetings, decision making and activities

· Proactively and positively participate in cross-company projects and initiatives

· Ensure employee engagement and employees development and upskilling

· Collaborate with other key members in Leadership team

MANAGEMENT ROLE

· Fulfil all the responsibilities of line management to the employees reporting direct into the role

· Foster a working culture in alignment with the company Vision and Mission, fostering an environment that is respectful and psychologically safe

· Lead or participate as a project team member to any cross-company projects as requested

· Mentor, coach, provide feedback and learning opportunities to employees in your organisation

PURCHASING

· Timely replenishment of stock to ensure optimal stock level is maintained

· Continuously assess cost reduction opportunities and ensure goods are sourced and procured at competitive prices, delivering optimal value for the business

· Perform inventory forecasting by coordinating with sales and marketing

· Analyze sales trends and other market factors, incorporating this analysis into forecasting and inventory planning

· Review and recommend strategic policies and procedures

· Initiate activities for clearing obsolete stock

· Review and negotiate existing contracts terms and conditions with vendors to ensure on-going feasibility. Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements

· Close cooperation with the Warehouse team on the arrival of goods to ensure efficient space management

· Stay informed about Import/Export regulations and ensure compliance

SUPPLY CHAIN

· Supervise day-to-day operations of the warehouse operations including storage, distribution of goods, logistics and adhere to all safety practices

· Inventory management and control to ensure high stock accuracy

· Order fulfilments are completed on-time and with high order accuracy. To resolve any operational issues whenever it arises

· Provide guidance, mentorship to Warehouse & Production team members to ensure team effectiveness

· To foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encourage teamwork and resolve conflicts within the department

· Drive continuous improvement with the team to identify potential areas for improvement through regular team meeting and evaluate process efficiency

· Collaborate with cross-functional department to implement best practices and process improvement to save cost

· Manage the overall logistics budget

· Lead and execute the tender management for all general hardware supplies. This includes seeking approval, contract management and resolve any issues whenever required.

· Ensure and continuously seek to improve optimal production yield

Requirements:

· Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain preferred

· Min 3 - 5 years of experience in Procurement, Warehouse &/OR Production role in Healthcare and FMCG

· Result oriented, analytical and creative in solving problems

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and ERP will be an added advantage

· Attention to details and highly self-motivated

· Highly organized and detail-oriented

· Strong collaboration and communication skills and capacity to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Analytical skills with Business and Financial acumen

· Dynamic team player with strategic and creative mindset

· Good initiator with strong multi-task and time management skills
