Head of Operations (B2B, Transportation Chauffeuring Services)
Our client, a Scotland headquartered company that is a B2B reservations platform for private hire, taxi, and coach drivers, is looking for a highly driven and motivated Head of Operation to oversee all day-to-day operational aspects.
Job Summary:
The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operational aspects. This includes managing driver operations, fleet management, customer service, and supporting technology systems to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. The Head of Operations is a strategic partner to the executive team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing operational enhancements.
Job Description:
- Develop and monitor key operational metrics such as on-time performance, customer satisfaction, and fleet utilization
- Manage the customer support team to ensure a seamless client experience from booking to delivery
- Responsible for the overall service delivery
- Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of Global including monitoring performance goals that meet efficiency levels, targets and quality assurance standard
- Identify and implement new operational processes, tools, and technologies to drive efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align operations with broader business objectives
- Partner with the technology team to optimize the online booking systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, insurance requirements, and company policies
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, logistics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in operations management
- Proven track record of leading operational teams and driving continuous process improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with fleet management, transportation logistics, and customer service best practices
- Experience with transportation-related technology platforms and systems
