- Managing engineering processes and teams that innovate, develop, and manufacture product packaging, ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting cost objectives.
- Establishing processes for testing, analyzing, and selecting materials to ensure durability and cost-effectiveness of packaging.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement of packaging materials.
- Evaluating supplier performance, forming long-term partnerships with key vendors, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Conducting hiring, onboarding, and training for new team members.
- Performing regular performance evaluations, providing feedback, and supporting career development and growth for team members.
- Aligning engineering initiatives with overall business objectives, market trends, and industry developments.
