Responsibilities
• Responsible for the stable operation and security of the in-house computer software systems and network connections
• Build, configure, monitor, and maintain all network components including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, leased-lines, ISPs, and related systems, and diagnose problems
• Provide users with hardware/software support including network and PC troubleshooting
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of the server and network equipment
• Liaise and work with external vendors/partners for project delivery and support
• Engage with back-line support and/or vendor support to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Work with infrastructure architects to rationalize the technical design and ensure the solution works well with Government infrastructure, policies, standards, and security requirements
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in design, deployment, operation, and management of enterprise and/or cloud infrastructure
• Provide operation support for the secure infrastructure
• Ensure smooth service delivery and implementation within the business context
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
• 3-5 years of experience in configuring and managing routers and switches, firewall products
• Strong understanding of network systems, architecture, routing, switching, firewall, and security
• Proficiency in network analysis and troubleshooting using network and protocol analyzers
