Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide strategic financial advice to support business decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Ensure compliance with financial reporting regulations.
- Accounting Operations: Manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Implement efficient accounting processes and systems.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Oversee internal controls to protect company assets.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax laws, accounting standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Audit Management: Coordinate with external auditors and address audit findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting certification would be advantegeous.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience is required
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Navision/Business Central software
