Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding project status, risks, and issues.
Manage and mentor a team of project managers, developers, and other technical staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Implement best practices for software development and project management.
Oversee project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints. Track expenses and report on budget performance.
Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary. Manage contracts and ensure vendor deliverables meet project requirements.
Promote continuous improvement in project delivery processes. Implement lessons learned and best practices from previous projects.
Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams and multiple time zones
Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the Banking Technology sector.
Preferred to have experience in managing China/Taiwan projects.
Experience of running multi-million dollars initiatives.
Experience of working on Regulatory initiatives.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Ability to analyze project data and make informed decisions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Good understanding of Technical Architecture
Good knowledge and working experience with Agile software development methodology.
Prior experience in online treasury payments and liquidity development.
Ability and experience to lead projects with direct reports on special initiatives.
Ability to collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Entail regular interaction with global initiative technology managers and team leads.
