Responsibilities:
1. To lead and manage Divisional Asset ( tools and equipment) utilization.
2. To collaborate closely with operations and planning ensuring tools/equipment availability for Base maintenance operations and actively sourcing for potential external loans to create a revenue stream for tools/equipment with low utilization.
3. To closely monitor the updating of the Bill of Tools (BOT) online folders and follow up with the tool loans (as required) to support operational requirements.
4. To upkeep tools and equipment rental price catalogue by periodic tool cost review.
5. To analyse cost benefit for tool purchasing and loaning decision.
6. To upkeep supplier and /or service provider contracts validity and service level
7. To upkeep processes and SOPs to meet Quality and financial compliance requirements. (examples: purchasing and scrapping of asset, asset verification, asset accountability)
8. To manage the flow of items sent out for calibration/testing/proof loading without disrupting the operational needs.
9. To prepare contracts and projects papers to support services engaged by the tool stores.
10. To monitor Tool Change Bulletins’ updates and follow up with the recommended actions by the tool manufactures.
11. To support and manage the mini tool stores in each operational line.
12. To develop continuous improvement culture among the team and improve process efficiencies and deliver cost savings projects
13. To present The control, administration, and allocation of duties of all staff under his / her charge.
14. Such other duties as assigned by the Manager Base Maintenance(Production & Customer Accounts)
Requirements:
· Degree in Engineering (Aerospace/ Mechanical/ Electronics Engineering) or Business
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
· Excellent team player with analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Some SAP knowledge will be advantageous
· Related working experience in Base Maintenance / aircraft hangar work environment would be advantageous
