NETWORK ENGINEER
The Network Support Technician will be responsible for executing and implement GPON (Giga Bit Passive Optical Network) and ICT infrastructure needs of the customer’s IT networking environment. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
The Network Engineer shall performs the major functions listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.
- Implement ICT infrastructure solutions for Hotel Hospitality, HealthCare and Business Enterprise
- Co-ordination of tasks with sub-contractors & related vendors
- Setup & Installation of networking software / hardware equipment, & system integration with 3rd partry equipment
- Be able to perform simple troubleshooting and resolve IT issues
- Plan, organise and complete assigned tasks on time with end user, vendors and technical team
- Possess a proactive attitude and customers oriented
- Willing to travel overseas for work related tasks as when required
- Good communication, organization and analytical skills
- Be an independent and good team player
Pre-requisite Requirement:
- A Higher Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical, Infocomm, IT engrg or similar.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Shall process B2B field experiences in maintenance service solutions to MNC or Enterprise Industry
- Min. 03 year working experiences in the Infor-comm Technology (IT) and Telecommunication or related industries will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels with an independent, proactive, confident and professional attitude
- People person with a strong customer service attitude
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and independently
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, TCP/IP, CLI and Cisco Command is preferable.
