As a Technical Consultant specializing in Informatica and Moody's Experience you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and support to clients in implementing and optimizing solutions related to Informatica technologies and Moody's Knowledge software. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions using the Informatica platform and Moody's Knowledge tools.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to gather business requirements, understand their technical needs, and provide expert advice on leveraging Informatica and Moody's Knowledge for their specific use cases.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and architect end-to-end technical solutions using Informatica and Moody's Knowledge, considering data integration, data quality, and data governance aspects.
- Implementation: Lead or support the implementation of Informatica and Moody's Knowledge solutions, including installation, configuration, customization, and integration with other systems or databases.
- Data Integration: Develop data integration workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter or other relevant tools to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into target systems.
- Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality rules and controls using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or similar tools to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Informatica and Moody's Knowledge solutions, including tuning ETL processes, optimizing data flows, and enhancing overall system efficiency.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive testing of Informatica and Moody's Knowledge solutions to ensure their functionality, reliability, and adherence to client requirements. Investigate and resolve technical issues or bugs as needed.
- Documentation and Training: Prepare technical documentation, including solution architecture, design specifications, and user guides. Conduct training sessions or workshops for clients and end-users to educate them on the implemented solutions.
- Industry and Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and advancements in Informatica technologies and Moody's Knowledge software. Apply this knowledge to enhance the quality and effectiveness of client solutions.
- Proven experience as a Technical Consultant, preferably with expertise in Informatica, PL/SQL, Unix, Control M and Moody's Experience
- Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), and other relevant Informatica products.
- Familiarity with Moody's Knowledge software, including Moody's Analytics Risk Foundation, Risk Authority, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes, Control M and data warehousing principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
