Head of Operations (Web3)
Overview: We are seeking a Head of Operations to oversee the implementation and management of a Web 3 company’s digital payment solutions and e-wallet services, with a focus on cross-border transactions and foreign exchange risk management. This senior role will involve strategic planning, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence and support the company's growth in the fintech sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of digital payment solutions and e-wallet services.
- Ensure efficient process flows and optimize the use of blockchain and cloud technologies.
- Address and mitigate pain points in cross-border trade, such as exchange rate risks and payment delays.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support company growth and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to align operational plans with business goals.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage four sub-teams: Customer Onboarding/KYT, Transaction Monitoring, Payment, and Customer Service.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to a team of 10 members.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure operations adhere to financial regulations and industry standards.
- Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate operational and financial risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior operations role within the Web3 or digital payments industry.
- Strong understanding of blockchain and cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-border transactions and foreign exchange risk.
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
