We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join one of the largest companies in the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the network security infrastructure to ensure the protection and integrity of our organization's data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, hardening, and hardware upgrades to maintain optimal network operation.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network infrastructure, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal downtime in the event of a disaster or network outage.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, stability, and security of the Network Infrastructure.
- Participate in and/or lead key IT projects and operations to ensure the proper setup and administration of Network Infrastructure and Security.
- Administer the company's entire Network Infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers, and other network devices to meet organizational requirements.
- Assess the security posture of cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Alibaba Cloud) and implement security controls to mitigate risks.
- Implement security measures and best practices for securing cloud-based services to protect cloud workloads and data.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential security threats. Provide support and respond promptly to network emergencies or security incidents.
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, SSL/TLS, and access control lists (ACLs) to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in both Network and Security
- Professional Certification (CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH) is a must
- Good experience and knowledge of Windows Server are preferred.
- Good in Network, Systems, Servers Linux, and Virtualization.
- Providing IT Infrastructure 24x7 Support and Standby for Incident calls or service calls.
- Possess good planning and organizing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
