As a senior management member of the Global IT function, the candidate is responsible for defining the broad technology strategy (On-Prem and Azure), develop roadmap and architecture that supports the businesses and IT needs, as well as deliver the highest quality service alongside with other managers.
Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of managing On-Prem and Azure Cloud Services including monitoring cloud operations and services, reviewing and maintaining strategies related to Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Services throughout the enterprise ensuring all performance, costs and security are closely managed.
Job Description
- Architecture Ownership: Lead the design and implementation of on-prem and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Project Leadership: Act as the go-to person for all infrastructure projects, issues, and initiatives.
- Budget Management: Plan and manage the annual infrastructure budget (Capex/Opex).
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT functions (PMO, Apps, Architecture, Security, Vessel) to meet business requirements.
- Incident Response & Continuity: Key stakeholder in Incident Response (IR), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity (BCP) planning.
- Global Operations: Oversee 24/7 global operations supporting offices worldwide.
- Innovation & Quality: Deliver innovative, cost-effective, and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
- Technical Knowledge: Support Azure native cloud development and have a broad understanding of both on-prem and Azure technologies.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO27001 and drive technology standards through best practices and ITIL standards.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for software, platforms, and services.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance IT team.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management.
- Preferred Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and Azure Architect.

- 10+ years in IT management for medium to large organizations.
- 5+ years managing Microsoft Cloud infrastructure, security, and operations.

- Experience with 24/7 high availability systems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite and managing global IT and DevOps teams.
- Experience migrating workloads to the cloud.
