SALES MANAGER

Job Description:

  • Assist Sales Team: Support the sales team in developing and implementing sales strategies and achieving targets.
  • Lead Generation: Help identify potential clients and opportunities for new business.
  • Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Account Management: Assist in managing key accounts, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring client needs are met.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assist in the preparation and submission of sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, agreements, and transactions.
  • Order Processing: Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipping and logistics processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to shipments, including delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market conditions, and client feedback to senior management.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, providing information about services, and handling complaints.
  • Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up with clients after service delivery to gather feedback and maintain relationships.
  • Sales Planning: Assist in developing sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Target Setting: Help set sales targets and monitor performance against these targets.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with the sales team, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Training: Provide training and support to new sales staff as needed.

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Typically 2-4 years of experience in sales or customer service within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
