Responsibilities:
· Manage all content and editorial including editing, writing, content strategy, and steering the overall direction and voice of the organisation’s communication strategies. This includes the production of annual reports, publications, speeches, media releases, etc.
· Ensure and maintain good brand and communication consistency for all company materials and collaterals.
· Develop strategic communications plan for key events.
· Engagement of both internal and external stakeholders in successfully executing initiatives. Initiatives include meetings, dialogues, events, etc.
· Media engagement for the publicity of the organisation’s activities. Craft media replies and coordinate media interviews.
· Media monitoring for news coverage on the organisation and related industry news.
· Plan and execute organisation’s council meetings and AGM.
· Provide general administrative support as assigned.
Requirements:
· Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public/media relations or related positions.
· Strong tertiary education in Mass Communications, Social Science or related disciplines. Excellent command of written and spoken English.
· Possess a keen interest in current affairs.
· Ability to work independently and with a team. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines.
· Self-motivated and resourceful with good multitasking and organisational ability.
· Strong leadership qualities and good project management skills.
