About The Role
Reporting into the VP, TR Asia Pacific, Marketing Director of TR Asia Pacific is responsible for delivering top and bottom line business goals and results as well as ensuring go-to-market executional excellence, including products, BA services and training, in store visibility, and retail experience that develop an innovative and industry-leading consumer journey in travel retail channel cross Asia Pacific regions.
He/she has to partner the VP, TR APAC to set up long term vision of full portfolio strategy, cross fragrance, makeup and skincare as a 3 axis beauty house in the APAC region and lead a sustainable business based on uncompromising ethics, integrity, fairness, diversity, and trust.
He/She drives local relevancy for a high-growth strategy, brand equity, lead the delivery of insights that contribute to breakthrough product and service innovation, customer experience, communication, P&L and cost efficiency.He/she shape the brands’ strategies and plans, in the APAC region as well as preserving brand equity in local markets, ensure local relevancy and speed to market that drives growth, and own executional excellence while identifying regional, local and cultural differences in order to properly tailor Global Brands’ programs to local TR consumers and help Global Brand Team to anticipate future consumer trends by having a deep understanding of consumers, competition, market trends, regional and local insights, and emerging opportunities
He/she leads talent development, and effectively leverage individuals’ strengths and foster a culture of leadership and creativity from every chair
Responsibilities
Brand Management
- Preserve Luxury brands equity & DNA with local relevance in each country
- Shape and execute a winning growth strategy
- Lead strategic market and portfolio analysis as well as identifying growth opportunities.
Marketing Strategy
- Drive the transformation into a digital-first organization
- Influence marketing practices and processes—both traditional and social—to execute with agility across a rapidly-evolving media environment around the world.
- Ensure the right programs and investment decisions are made
- Lead impeccable consumer experiences for all channels
- Responsible for future market launches to ensure every market launches strong and stays strong.
Retail Excellence
- To be obsessed with a Sell-out mindset focusing on Customers’ experiences, engagement, recruitment, conversion & retention
- Lead Luxury brands’ service models and merchandising formats by channel
- Implement the omni-channel strategy and develop necessary capabilities.
- Maximize in-store consumer engagement by providing multiple, locally relevant solutions for in-store opportunities in each channel.
- Develop and implement vision for in-store retail consumer experience to drive conversion, productivity, innovative digital in-store experiences and education.
- Infuse creative inspiration into every element of the consumer experience
Human Resource Development
- Identify, build, and develop essential capabilities to deliver results while remaining agile
- Actively lead and engage in talent development in order to create high-performing talent
- Encourage leadership and creativity from every chair.

Requirements
Industry Experience
- Luxury Beauty
- Must have Skincare experiences on top of Makeup and Fragrances
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the abovementioned industry/segment
Market Experiences
- Have built solid local operation experience (Min. of 7 years)
