- Supervise daily production activities
- Responsible for production scheduling and materials allocation
- Ensure proper handling of machines by operators
- Ensure adequate supply of materials for production to meet orders
- Ensure availability and proper housekeeping of all cutting tools
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Highlight any quality, production issues, machine malfunctioning to the immediate attention of Operations Manager and/or relevant Sales personnel
- Review work processes, practices for continuous improvement to raise efficiency in operation
- Ensure Work place Safety and Health practices are in place
- Supervise and motivate the production leaders and operators
- Perform related duties as and when required as assigned by the Management
Requirements:
- Willing to be hands-on at work
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with team members who speak only Mandarin.
- Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage
- Must be willing to work in Tuas
