The Principal Technial Security Engineer will be a subject matter expert (SME) in internet network, topology, and routing. They will understand the DDoS threat landscape, adversary techniques and methods, and be able to form expert opinions on future trends and developments. The SME will also experience 7+ years of hands on experience utilizing NETSCOUT products (Sightline, TMS, and AED) as the role requires incident support for customers, feature development, and strategic guidance on new initiatives to impact NETSCOUT's core business. The position also requires excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to communicate to audiences comprosing technical engineers up to CEO's. This position also requires training more junior personnel and increasing the overall exertise of the research and analysis team. Finally, the SME must have a foundation of coding and scripting skills to understand various applications of product features and be self-sufficient in performing SQL database manipulations for threat analytics and trending analysis.
