-Plan, implement and manage daily operations
-Prepare a wide variety of pastries such as cakes, macarons, nyonya kueh etc. following traditional and modern recipes
-Create new seasonal menu items
-Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure good presentation
-Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
-Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
-Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
-Train, guide and motivate pastry assistants
-Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
-Adhere to health and safety standards
Keep abreast with the latest food and industry trends
Job Requirements
-Has experience in working in a bakery and passionate in production for cakes and pastries
-Good team player and able to work well with bakery team
-Attention to detail
-Min. 2 years experience in baking and production
-Required to commit to 6 days work week, work on PH & weekends
