Overview
The Facilities Manager at ARPC @Tengah is responsible for the maintenance of Church properties and facilities, ensuring cleanliness and safety, operability, aesthetic appeal, and fostering a conducive environment. He / She will also aid in event preparations and coordination of church-wide events. This role will report to the Executive Director of ARPC and offer support to other ARPC locations, as and when necessary.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with the Executive Director on facility management budgeting.
· Utilize handiwork skills to facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of all church facilities ensuring the spaces are clean, safe, and well maintained.
· Serve as the main point of contact for all building and facilities related matters. The stakeholders include Church staff, Church congregation and External partners/parties/Vendors.
· Manage Contractors (e.g. Cleaners, Landscapers, Security, Workers etc.) to maintain and drive future upgrading of the Church building.
· Provide Church wide logistics and support for events.
· Coordinate with Ministry leads and volunteers to prepare and organize spaces.
· Oversee the setup and teardown of spaces for events, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
· Oversee the care and proper usage of all facilities and physical assets such as signage, stands, and additional collateral, ensuring they are properly maintained and stored after each event.
· Ensuring the security and safety of the Church building.
Qualifications
· A degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, Real Estate Management or a related field preferred.
· At least 5 years’ working experience in facilities management or building services in any industry.
· Familiarity with Fire Safety Codes, Building Codes of Practice, and industry best practices.
· A mature and committed Christian with significant handiwork experience.
· Good with details, multi-tasking and administrative work.
· Ability to receive feedback, be flexible and adaptable in working with teams.
· Ability to take initiative and prioritize work.
· Ability to think strategically, anticipate future needs and make informed decisions.
· Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
· Singaporeans or Singapore PR preferred.
