Responsible for the strategic development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs across HQ and all overseas manufacturing facilities.
This role ensures compliance with local and international EHS regulations and promotes a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Responsbilities
- Develop and implement robust EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead the coordination and communication of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, focusing on sustainability projects and reporting.
- Collaborate with overseas factory management to conduct risk assessments, enhance emergency response protocols, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrence.
- Empower factory personnel by delegating authority and providing necessary tools and training to enhance EHS performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance metrics through the implementation of innovative solutions and active employee engagement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and overseas factories for all EHS-related matters, ensuring alignment of objectives and sharing of best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in EHS management, ideally within a manufacturing setting with multiple overseas factories.
- Comprehensive understanding of EHS regulations, standards, and ESG reporting frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing EHS strategies and programs within multinational corporations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
