Responsibilities:
Technical Systems Management:
- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of technical systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and security systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify system issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
- Monitor and manage energy consumption to optimize efficiency and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and guidelines for technical systems.
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support for safety training initiatives to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
Technical Projects and Planning:
- Assist in planning and executing technical projects, such as renovations, upgrades, or installations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure technical requirements are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Support the procurement process by sourcing and evaluating vendors, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts.
Vendor and Contract Management:
- Manage relationships with vendors to ensure the provision of high-quality services.
- Evaluate vendor performance and adherence to service level agreements.
- Review and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and manage vendor invoices, track expenses, and maintain budgetary control.
Budgeting and Reporting:
- Assist in the development and management of the technical facilities budget.
- Analyze budget variances and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare regular reports on technical operations, maintenance activities, and budgetary spending.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and warranty information.
