Position: Product Director

Product Director –

Mandatory strong experiences in -

1. Leading the product team, to define the product vision, and being responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for the products with solid understanding of the Credit Risk management processes.
2. Define and communicate product requirements and specifications, possess an intimate knowledge of the end-to-end flow and how it integrates with the SmartLender ecosystem.
3. Strong analytical and operational capabilities
4. Communicate and coordinate with other internal/external stakeholders to ensure that the progress of its ongoing projects is running in a quality manner etc.
5. Thoughtfully challenge assumptions and push cross-functional teams to find better solutions while also moving fast.
6. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
7. Managing and supervising a team of product members, including setting goals and objectives, providing support and guidance, and evaluating staff performance.
8. Willingness to travel
9. Able to be involved in presales pitches with the sales team

Mandatory experience with at least 2 of the specialisations -

1. Provide expertise and ownership on Credit Assessment platform which includes Financial Analysis, Scoring, Rating and ESG

With experience in one or more of the following areas: underwriting, portfolio management, credit reporting, credit administration, product management, financial analytics.

Highly conversant with Credit Assessment, practice rules, expert opinions and legal decisions.

Good understanding of Credit Assessment with the ability to evaluate options and provide solutions.

1. Provide expertise and ownership on Corporate Origination platform.

Highly conversant with Corporate Lending, practice rules, expert opinions and legal decisions.

Familiarity with a Corporate LOS is strongly preferred – other preferred system experience includes nCino, Moody’s Credit Lens.

1. Provide expertise and ownership on Collateral & Limits Management platform, with good knowledge in the post approval processes.

Highly conversant with Collateral & Limits Management, practice rules, expert opinions and good understanding of all Basel frameworks.

Good understanding of the Risk related aspects for Collateral & Limits Management with the ability to evaluate options and provide solutions.

Other key capabilities / attributes

1. At least 10 years of relevant banking experience.
2. Experience in IT business analysis techniques
3. Experience in dealing with medium scale to large scale project management
4. Service oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
5. Resourceful and able to work effectively under pressure as an individual as well as in a team
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Ability to produce high-quality, succinct deliverables
8. Meticulous , quality and service oriented, with the ability to perform critical evaluation and provide effective solutions
9. Pro–active, resourceful and able to work effectively as an individual as well as in a team
10. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of discretion and integrity
11. Good understanding of SDLC, with experience with Agile/Scrum.
12. Good techno-functional experience involving applications on microservice architecture.
13. Experience in the financial services, lending, and/or enterprise software
14. Experience building API-driven platforms and working with third-party developers
15. Experience shipping successful integrations third-party systems
