Job Description
Reporting to the Business Head of Cards and Lending, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and get to design, develop and deliver one of our key engagement and revenue generating product propositions. As a Product Specialist you would cover – both debit and credit cards, ensuring a cohesive overall customer value proposition for our customers for their payment and borrowing needs. You are a digital native with a natural intuition for design and technology, coupled with a strategic mindset. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, get excited by solving complex problems and are happy to roll your sleeves up and get things done.
The Role Responsibility:
· Define a compelling service proposition through innovative product management/development amid intensifying competition from traditional card issuers and emerging third-party payment providers
· Execute the cards product roadmap and strategy
· Responsible for delivering the cards OKR and P&L
· Be the voice of the customer for your product/service and collaborate with other product owners to converge on a broader coherent proposition
· Drive customer engagement - spends and balances by deploying relevant campaigns and making changes to the CVP
· Act as the senior product owner across the product and services, to define and manage the product backlog, prioritise feature releases in line with the broader roadmap
· Drive the day-to-day card operations
· Manage existing partner relationship and build new alliances to enhance the card proposition
· Collaborate with Operations, Engineering team and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of journeys
· Provide insights into product, technology, and market trends, pre-empting imminent disruptions and identifying opportunities for acceleration
· Collaborate with other Stream Leads, Design, Technology, Operations, Risk, Finance and Strategic partnership etc.

Our Ideal Candidate:
· 7+ year’s progressive experience in Product Management in Financial Institutions, leading a business unit responsible for achieving financial sales and service performance objectives through a customer needs-based sales approach
· 3+ years of Cards Product Ownership experience – managed card operations
· Experience in credit and fraud risk management
· A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (finance, computer science, electrical engineering, etc).
· Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies
· A strong customer focus and a natural inclination to let empirical research define and inform product/service priorities
· Hands on experience in agile environment
· Exceptional interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills
· Possess leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
· Ability to effectively prioritise, project manage and meet stipulated timelines
· Ability to influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
