Job Description:

This position is based in Singapore.

We are looking for a Sales Manager to be based in our Singapore office to manage our Talent Solutions (including Learning Solutions) business for Indonesia, one of our fastest growing markets. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Account Executives that hunt for new business opportunities across the Indonesia market. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and executing the acquisition sales strategy across market. You will inspire and motivate employees daily and bring innovation to the sales process to accelerate our market growth.


Overall, you will index on talent to be innovative, passionate and constantly work towards building a high-performance culture among the team. You will:

  • Actively learn LinkedIn Management practices and model LinkedIn’s culture and values
  • Deepen understanding of LinkedIn's roadmap and build knowledge on LinkedIn products and processes
  • Proactively invest in self-learning, seek out feedback and be agile to manage change
  • Be a forward thinker and have strategic vision to grow business at scale
  • Demonstrate ability to use data and evidence to make timely business decisions, and effectively prioritize activities to grow business at scale
  • Proactively flex management style to meet employee needs and to motivate and inspire excellence from the team

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead a world-class, high performing team of Account Executives and nurture them in their development and transformation
  • Define compelling vision to clarify future direction of the team
  • Translate segments and regional plans to team strategies and leads key initiatives to scale business across teams and segments
  • Consistently meet quarterly revenue goals and objective key results
  • Demand excellence through demonstrating best sales practices, coaching (through effective 1:1s), performance reviews, developing and inspiring team members
  • Coach your team on innovative sales practices to solve customer problems and create deal strategies, especially at CxO level relationships
  • Delegate assignments and decisions to empower your team
  • Foster a positive and values-driven team culture that will motivate others
  • Manage headcount, forecast, lead meetings, align team to organizational vision and values
  • Be able to demonstrate collaboration across sales specialists, product & marketing teams and provide internal partners intelligence (competitive, industry, market) to form product and business strategies
  • Identify team challenges and lead training and education to improve rep effectiveness
  • Proactively measures business and team goals and communicates effectively with clarity and conviction
  • Establish and manage key industry & business partner relationships via various programs with an eye on commercial growth
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge and do everything you can to help the company achieve our larger objectives
  • Work effectively in a virtual office setup, where clients are based in a different market/territory from where you are stationed

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • 5+ years of experience selling to or working with Indonesia enterprises
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales and Sales Management experience preferably in Technology, SaaS and/or Human Capital / Consulting space
  • Proven track record in acquiring new business sales
  • Expertise in scaling businesses in a high-growth market
  • Strong understanding and interest in economic drivers and policies of the Indonesia market
  • Experience managing industry relationships and driving commercial programs through these relationships
  • Ability and willingness to coach and provide guidance to team members with the aim of improving the sales skills of the team
  • Ability to evaluate business opportunities, make sound decisions and exceed revenue goals
  • Strong executive presence, gravitas and ability to influence at the C-level
  • Integrity-driven, collaborative team player who can resolve conflicts with ease
  • Capability in forming enduring teamwork across an organization and geographies supported by strong networking skills and ability to build alliances
  • Respected & well connected in their industry with the potential to also do so in the HR community
