Order Processing (Letter of Credit, FMCG)

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a well-established Denmark company specializing in designing, sourcing and delivering furniture and flooring products, and we are looking to hire a Billing Executive to join their business. Reporting to the Billing Manager, the successful incumbent will primarily prepare full set of shipping documents (including Letter of Credit), and liaise with the finance team on payment matters, bankers on letter of credit and quality team on claims.

  • Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Work location: near Tanjong Pajar MRT
  • Work hours: Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 6pm
  • Basic salary up to $ 4,000 / month + Variable Bonuses (1-2 months)


The Job:

Issuing Invoices

  • Process high volume of orders (approx. 100/month)
  • Follow up closely on shipping schedules, outstanding payments, and pending documents
  • Create invoices and packing lists for trade transactions

Documentation Handling

  • Manage import and export documentation between suppliers and customers
  • Prepare documents for submission of export L/C and collection bills to the bank
  • Issue import letters of credit (L/C) to overseas suppliers
  • Review export L/C from overseas customers

Claim Management

  • Prepare debit and credit notes for suppliers and customers relevant to claims

Customer Relationship

  • Liaise with overseas offices regarding sales and procurement trade activities
  • Coordinate with the Order Management Team on sales and purchase orders
  • Communicate with bankers on trade finance matters

The Talent:

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of shipping documents, including letter of credit.
  • Comfortable in high volume of order processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP) and knowledge of incoterms.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
