Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a fresh graduate or will hold a Higher Nitec or Diploma in IT and/or Cybersecurity. This role involves targeting new partners, resellers, and end customers, as well as engaging with existing clients to develop additional sales opportunities. The Sales Executive will also provide sales support to the General Manager, including documentation and proposal preparation. Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills are essential. Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development:
1. Product Knowledge and Presentation:
· Understand and effectively present the range of IT/cybersecurity products distributed by the company.
· Prepare and deliver engaging presentations on our products and solutions to prospective and existing clients.
2. Channel Partner and Customer Development:
· Identify and establish relationships with new channel partners and customers.
· Develop and manage existing channel partners and customers, implementing sales and marketing initiatives to increase revenue.
· Motivate and support channel partners by creating joint marketing and promotional plans with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
3. Account and Relationship Management:
· Manage and nurture relationships with designated customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Actively seek out new sales opportunities to expand the customer base.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
· Conduct market research to understand channel partners and customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target key sectors and expand market share.
Secondary Responsibilities: Sales Support:.
1. Sales and Administrative Support:
· Generate quotations and follow up closely with channel partners and customers to secure sales.
· Participate in tender processes, including RFQ/RFP/RFI, providing necessary documentation and responses.
· Support the General Manager in sales-related activities and provide sales support to sales team.
· Assist with administrative tasks and documentation as needed, particularly in relation to Sales RFPs/tenders.
2. Customer Support and Issue Resolution:
· Act as a point of contact for channel partners and customers, helping to resolve any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
· Coordinate with technical support teams to address and resolve channel partner and customers issues.
3. Event Participation:
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and network with potential channel partners and customers.
· Coordinate with the marketing team for sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Job Holder’s Specifications
· Fresh graduate, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent in IT and/or Cybersecurity.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
· Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
· Good organisational and time management skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
· Highly motivated and target driven.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Adaptable and willing to learn.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Effective communication and presentation skills with fluent English.
· Able to perform well in a fast pace and high ambiguity environment.
