About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead our team in testing competitor products and completing Proof of Concept (POC) projects. This role is crucial in driving our competitive edge and validating new technologies within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Competitive Product Testing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for competitor products
- Analyze competitor features, performance, and user experience
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and present insights to stakeholders
POC Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of POC projects from ideation to completion
- Define clear objectives, timelines, and success criteria for each POC
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of POCs
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of technical analysts and testers
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations
Strategic Planning:
- Develop roadmaps for competitive analysis and POC initiatives
- Align testing and POC strategies with overall business objectives
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate findings
- Provide regular updates to executive management on project progress and insights
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
Performance Optimization:
- Identify areas for improvement in testing methodologies and POC processes
- Implement best practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained across all projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in competitive analysis or POC management
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of leading successful POC projects
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
