Preparation and serving of food including basic cookery

Taking and recording temperature readings for fridges, freezers, chillers, and hot cabinets to comply with food hygiene regulations
Operating electronic cash register and handling cash / locking up
Help with stocktakes
Putting deliveries away
To ensure canteen area is kept clear of obstruction in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications for assistant cook
Skills to assist in preparation of weekly menus
Required reading and math skills for recipes and accurate measurements
Must successfully pass a Federal background check
Be alert to any food issues and raise these with Chef/Manager at once
Any other jobs as required
Food Hygiene Certificate essential
