RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Volunteers Management

  • Assist the Community Relations Manager in managing volunteers
  • Recruit, process applications, and assess suitability of new volunteers
  • Arrange and conduct volunteer training and orientation
  • Coordinate volunteering schedules and events with relevant departments
  • Maintain volunteer records and manage appreciation efforts

2. Feedback Gathering

  • Conduct surveys to gather feedback on resident and stakeholder engagements
  • Document feedback for improvements and awards submissions
  • Manage post-event survey feedback

3. Corporate Communication

  • Assist in providing reports, write-ups, and photographs for organizational newsletters and events
  • Document events and archive photos

4. Engagement of the Community

  • Orientate visitors and conduct tours of facilities
  • Represent the organization at external meetings and functions
  • Coordinate major events and collaborate on projects with external agencies
  • Participate in developmental activities and maintain knowledge in relevant fields

5. Awards Submissions

  • Prepare and submit nominations for various awards
  • Present shortlisted entries for awards including Ageing Asia, Community Care Excellence Award (CCEA), and others

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor's degree in fields such as Healthcare Management, Social Work, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline is often preferred.

Job Requirements

  • Preferably with 2 - 4 years relevant working experience
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Should be a team player who is patient, warm and helpful and organised at work
  • Knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Office and Excel is required
OTHER INFORMATION

Working Hours

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

  • 8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday, 45 minutes lunch break)
